The centrifugal gold concentrator is a highly efficient device that recovers free gold in all particle size ranges, especially fine gold lost during the operation of gravity concentrators (sluice boxes and jigs). It can be used not only for alluvial gold mining, but also for recovering native gold from hard rock, replacing amalgam, and recovering gold from tailings.

Working Principle
The centrifugal gold concentrator is a relatively new type of gravity concentrating equipment. The machine uses the principle of a centrifuge to enhance the gravity acting on the feed particles, thereby separating them according to particle density.
The key component of the device is a conical “concentrating” bowl that is rotated at high speed by an electric motor and surrounded by a pressurized water jacket. The feed material, usually from a ball mill discharge or cyclone underflow, is delivered to the center of the bowl from above in the form of a slurry. The feed slurry contacts the bottom plate of the container and is pushed outward due to the rotation of the container.
The outer end of the concentrate bowl is equipped with a series of ribs with a groove between each pair of ribs. During operation, lighter materials flow upward through the grooves, and heavier mineral particles (usually of economic value) are trapped in them. Pressurized water is injected through a series of tangential water inlets along the perimeter of each groove to maintain a fluidized bed of particles, in which heavy mineral particles can be effectively concentrated.
Advantages
1.Applications have shown that the recovery rate can be as high as 99%, and the concentration rate can be up to 1000 times. When recovering natural gold in a vein with a size of -0.074mm, the gold content is as high as 98%, and for a vein with a particle size of 0.04mm, the gold recovery rate is 97%.
2.The strong centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation intensifies the gravity separation process and effectively recovers fine ore particles.
