Product Introduction
The KYF-type inflatable mechanical stirring flotation machine is a non-suction inflatable flotation device designed specifically for roughing and scavenging operations in large and medium-sized concentrators.
The KYF-type inflatable mechanical stirring flotation machine is suitable for the separation of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and non-metallic minerals, handling material particle sizes ranging from 0.3 to 0.01 mm.
The KYF-type inflatable mechanical stirring flotation machine is available in two configurations: U-shaped tank and cylindrical tank, offering flexible options for different working conditions.

Working Principle
When the KYF-type inflatable mechanical stirring flotation machine operates, the rotating impeller drives the slurry in the tank to be sucked in from the bottom around the impeller.
Simultaneously, low-pressure air supplied by the blower enters the air distributor in the impeller chamber through the air duct, air adjustment valve, and hollow main shaft.
Air is uniformly dispersed through the holes around the distributor into the spaces between the impeller blades, where it fully mixes with the slurry. The mixture is then discharged from the upper periphery of the impeller.
The discharged slurry moves diagonally upward and is stabilized and guided by the stator installed diagonally above the impeller, evenly dispersing throughout the tank.
Mineralized bubbles rise to the surface of the tank to form froth, which flows into the froth trough. The slurry either returns to the impeller area for recirculation or flows through the flow holes in the tank partition into the next tank for further separation.
Advantages and Features
Efficient Mixing and Simplified Structure
The backward-angled conical impeller ensures robust mixing capability while simplifying the equipment structure, enhancing maintenance convenience.
Uniform Air-Slurry Mixing
The cylindrical air distributor with multiple holes in the impeller chamber achieves uniform air dispersion, improving air-slurry combination and enhancing flotation efficiency.
Energy Saving
The design of the small-diameter impeller with low peripheral speed significantly reduces energy consumption, saving 30-50% according to tests, demonstrating excellent energy efficiency.
Optimized Suspension and Flotation Indicators
The ore particles achieve good suspension during flotation, ensuring improved flotation indicators and optimized mineral separation results.
U-shaped Tank Design
The U-shaped tank reduces tailings deposition, lowers cleaning frequency, and enhances operational continuity.
Wear Resistance and Longevity
The low wear rate of the easily worn parts extends the equipment’s service life and reduces maintenance costs.
Flexible Operation Configuration
Although it is a mechanical stirring type and cannot self-aspirate air and slurry, it can form an efficient combination with other equipment through stepwise configuration, such as combining with the XCF flotation cell to form a joint flotation cell group for continuous operation.
