Working Principle
The High-Efficiency Deep Cone Thickener primarily consists of two core components: the circular thickening tank and the rake-type scraper.
In the thickening tank, solid particles suspended in the slurry settle under gravity, forming clarified water at the top, thus achieving solid-liquid separation.
The settled slurry at the bottom of the tank is continuously scraped by the rake-type scraper towards the central discharge port, while the clarified water overflows from the top of the tank.
The deep cone thickener, also known as a paste thickener, features a significantly increased height compared to conventional thickeners due to its deep cone structure. This design facilitates better settling of materials and separation of water.
The equipment includes components such as the deep cone, feeding device, stirring device, control box, dosing system, and automatic control system, ensuring efficient and stable thickening processes.
